The song "Billionaire" sung by Travie McCoy featuring Bruno Mars. The situation or setting of the song is the speaker's desire to become a billionaire and all the things he would do with that wealth. The feelings conveyed in the song are ambition, desire, and hopefulness. The speaker is optimistic about his future and believes that he can achieve his dreams. The speakers are Travie McCoy and Bruno Mars. In the song, Travie McCoy raps about his desire to become a billionaire and all the things he would do with that wealth. Bruno Mars gives the same want also. The tone of the song is upbeat, confident, and optimistic. The theme of the song is the desire for money and the things that can be done with that wealth, such as giving back and helping others.
All three pieces talk about their future dream and plan to get there and what they're going to do. In my poem I use examples” And worked hard to accumulate his own crate He built his business, brick by brick And with each success, his confidence grew thick”(lines 14-16) plans to achieve his dreams of wealth and how he was a part of the whole process. In "Dream Big," the author uses examples such as working hard and persisting through difficult times to demonstrate the importance of perseverance in achieving one's goals for example the author said “Because with an idea, Determination and the right tools, You can do great things “ (line 20-23) this shows how with percent elements goods things will happen are possible” . In "Billionaire," the lyrics “And adopt a bunch of babies that ain't never had shit Give away a few Mercedes like 'Here lady have this' and also:”I'd probably visit where Katrina hit “And damn sure do a lot more than FEMA did” (line 14-18) show that when he archives this goal of wealth how he would give back to the world.
middle-class boy
In a modest home, a middle-class boy
Dreamed of riches that could bring him joy
He thought hard, his grades were alright
But he knew that alone wouldn't let him fly
He saw the wealthy in their fancy cars
And wondered how they reached the stars
He longed for their opulence and their ease
And wanted to learn their secrets to please
He started small, with a gum in his hands
But soon realized, it wasn't so grand
He researched and read, and asked around
To find the best ways to make his fortune sound
He learned about stocks, bonds, and real estate
And worked hard to accumulate his own crate
He built his business, brick by brick
And with each success, his confidence grew thick
He found mentors to guide his way
And learned from their mistakes, day by day
He networked and hustled, without a break
And his perseverance was rewarded, make no mistake
He will be, a wealthy man, with a heart of gold
And he knows the value of being bold
He will remember his roots and where he began
And he's grateful for the journey, every single span
For the middle-class boy, who once dreamed of wealth
Will live a life of abundance, joy, and health
And he knows that anything is possible
If you're willing to learn, grow, and expanded
Dream Big
Author Unknown
If there were ever a time to dare,
To make a difference
To embark on something worth doing
It is now.
Not for any grand cause, necessarily –
But for something that tugs at your heart
Something that is worth your aspiration
Something that is your dream.
You owe it to yourself
To make your days count.
Have fun. Dig deep. Stretch.
Dream big.
Know, though,
That things worth doing
Seldom come easy,
There will be times when you want to
Turn around
Pack it up and call it quits
Those times tell you
That you are pushing yourself
And that you are not afraid to learn by trying.
Persist.
Because with an idea,
Determination and the right tools,
You can do great things.
Let your instincts, your intellect
And let your heart guide you.
Trust.
Believe in the incredible power
Of the human mind
Of doing something that makes a difference
Of working hard
Of laughing and hoping
Of lasting friends
Of all the things that will cross your path
Next year
The start of something new
Brings the hope of something great.
Anything is possible
There is only one you
And you will pass this way but once.
Travie McCoy: Billionaire ft. Bruno Mars [OFFICIAL VIDEO]
… I wanna be a billionaire so fucking bad
Buy all of the things I never had
Uh, I wanna be on the cover of Forbes magazine
Smiling next to Oprah and the Queen
… Oh every time I close my eyes
I see my name in shining lights, yeah
A different city every night, oh I
I swear the world better prepare
For when I'm a billionaire
… Yeah I would have a show like Oprah
I would be the host of everyday Christmas
Give Travie your wish list
I'd probably pull an Angelina and Brad Pitt
And adopt a bunch of babies that ain't never had shit
Give away a few Mercedes like 'Here lady have this'
And last but not least grant somebody their last wish
It's been a couple months that I've been single so
You can call me Travie Claus minus the Ho Ho
Ha ha get it? I'd probably visit where Katrina hit
And damn sure do a lot more than FEMA did
Yeah, can't forget about me, stupid
Everywhere I go, Imma have my own theme music
… Oh every time I close my eyes
(What you see, what you see brah?)
I see my name in shining lights
(Uhuh uhuh yeah what else?)
A different city every night, oh I
I swear the world better prepare (for what?)
For when I'm a billionaire
Oh oooh oh oooh for when I'm a billionaire
Oh oooh oh oooh for when I'm a billionaire
… I'll be playing basketball with the President
Dunking on his delegates
Then I'll compliment him on his political etiquette
Toss a couple milli in the air just for the heck of it
But keep the fives, twenties, tens and bens completely separate
And yeah I'll be in a whole new tax bracket
We in recession but let me take a crack at it
I'll probably take whatever's left and just split it up
So everybody that I love can have a couple bucks
And not a single tummy around me would know what hungry was
Eating good, sleeping soundly
I know we all have a similar dream
Go in your pocket, pull out your wallet
And put it in the air and sing
… I wanna be a billionaire so fucking bad (so bad)
Buy all of the things I never had (buy everything ha ha)
Uh, I wanna be on the cover of Forbes magazine
Smiling next to Oprah and the Queen (what up Oprah)
… Oh every time I close my eyes
(What ya see, what you see brah?)
I see my name in shining lights
(Uh huh, uh huh, what else?)
A different city every night, oh I
I swear the world better prepare (for what?)
For when I'm a billionaire (yeah, sing it)
Oh oooh oh oooh when I'm a billionaire
Oh oooh oh oooh
… I wanna be a billionaire so fucking bad!
